Steven Baum (Screenwriter) has extensive writing and producing experience in one-hour episodic drama.

Early credits include "OUTLAWS", "RAGS TO RICHES" (Staff Writer, multiple), "AARON'S WAY", "DAVY CROCKETT - A NATURAL MAN", "DIRTY DOZEN" (Story Editor, multiple) and "IN THE HEAT OF THE NIGHT" (multiple).

More recent credits include "STAR TREK - DEEP SPACE NINE", "THE SENTINEL" (multiple) and "HERCULES - THE LEGENDARY JOURNEYS" (multiple).

In 1989, he was hired to rewrite the first episode of ABC's soon-to-be acclaimed Western Drama; "THE YOUNG RIDERS". He served as Producer for the series' three year duration, carrying the load of the show's story development, writing and rewriting. Nominated for Silver Spur Award by western Writers of America for episode "Ten Cent Hero".

In 1994, he served as Executive Consultant (Supervising Producer) for "LONESOME DOVE - THE SERIES", the highest rated new syndicated drama of that season.

In 1997, his "DR. QUINN, MEDICINE WOMAN" episode; "Remember Me" was nominated by the producers for the Humanitas Award.

Spec features include "LITTLE PIECES" (formly "HEAVEN/HECK/HELL", optioned by Schindler/Sherdlow Prods. In 1994), "BED REST" and "WELCOME TO THE NEIGHBORHOOD".

Other projects include "FOUR CORNERS" a one-hour family drama (with Julia Stemock and Greenstem Productions, Inc.), currently under consideration at CBS Productions and Blue Marlin Entertainment.

"YOUNG MUSKETEERS - SWORD OF HONOR", a two hour backdoor pilot currently under consideration at the Disney Channel.
