2001 marks Julia's twenty-first year in the entertainment industry. Julia started in theatre at the University of San Francisco, where just after three months into her freshman year she was offered a four year contract with Unocal and PBS. During her four years with Unocal, she not only produced many educational programs, live stage performances, television movies and mini-series, she also received her Bachelors degree of Arts in Theatre, Film and Communication.

In 1982, Julia moved to Los Angeles where she stepped in front of the camera for two years on daytime drama: "Days of Our Lives" and the independent drama Rumors. After the experience of the limelight, Julia decided that her true talent was behind-the-camera. For the next eight years she worked in every aspect of film making with positions as a 1st and 2nd Assistant Director, grip, electrician, editor (picture and sound), Production Manager and Line Producer.

During these past twenty years Julia has built up a very respected and solid name in the film industry as well as a very impressive list of professionals in the industry that she stills works with today.

In 1991, she returned to producing as her lifetime goal and formed her own production company with Greenstem Productions, Inc.

A native of Southern California, Julia was born in Redondo Beach. Though a true California Julia was raised in Las Vegas, Nevada, where her drive and determination first surfaced in sports as a member of the All State Championship teams in volleyball and tennis.
