Scott Spears (Writer) has worked in film and video production for over twelve years. He received a MA in Cinema from Ohio State University and has since then shot seven feature films, numerous short films, various commercials, and music videos. Scott won an Emmy Award for his photography on the short film "The Birthmark," which aired on PBS in 1994, and Scott's most recent film, the short film "Chechov's Gun," screened at the Dublin Film Festival to rave reviews. The feature film "A Letter From Death Row," starring Brett Michaels, Martin Sheen, and Charlie Sheen, which Scott shot, will be premiering on Showtime this fall.

Some of Scott's video work includes videography on the 20th Century Fox comedy short "Sammy: the Screenplay," starring Jason Alexander and Rob Schneider and "Titanic," starring Patrick Stewart, which won "Best Documentary" at the Interactive Academy Awards.

Some other awards under Scott's belt are the Blue Chip Cable Access Award for Best Documentary for his film "Reasonable Doubt," and the 1st place award at the Lens and Light Film Festival for his drama "Song of the Ripper."

 

Jay Woelfel (Writer) has spent his career working in all phases of production and post-production in film, video, and interactive media. On the strength of his body of work, Jay was selected by the United States Information Agency as one of the six best film students in the United States to represent it at the 1986 Cannes Film Festival. He has since then written and directed six features. To list some of his awards, Jay won the Interactive Academy Award for Best Documentary for "Titanic," a project he wrote and directed which was narrated by Patrick Stewart. It is one of five awards Titanic has won since its release in 1994.

In 1993 he won an OEB and two Emmy Awards for his production of Nathaniel Hawthorne's "The Birthmark," which has since aired Nationally on PBS. He also edited the Academy Award nominated short film "Bronx Cheers," as well as won a Tele Award for the television pilot "Tilted Television." He has been a guest lecturer for UCLA, IFP, AND OSU. He is also a published author.
